Muskies Making Their "Mock" Spawning Run Up Murphy's Creek to Lake Wingra 4-7 & 9, 2010
Every spring around the beginning of April, muskies move up Murphy's Creek on a "mock" spawning run up to Lake Wingra. The warming water, an increased water flow, and that time of year have the muskies moving. There is no documented natural reproduction in the Madison Chain. These muskies are just doing their natural thing!
