Angler Earns $85,000 for Removing Northern Pikeminnows from Pacific NW Rivers 2-14-2018

Pikeminnow (via pikeminnow.org) PORTLAND, Ore. – An angler made $84,000 in 5 months by catching 10,000 fish from Northwest rivers this year. Here’s how: The Bonneville Power Administration‘s Northern Pikeminnow Sport Reward Program offers anglers $5 to $8 for every northern pikeminnow taken from the Columbia and Snake rivers. Outdoor Report January 25, 2018 (View in browser) Snow landed across several northern counties this past week, allowing more counties to open snowmobile trails and additional properties to groom ski trails. There now are about 20 counties that have snowmobile trails open or partially open across the north on the Wisconsin Department of Tourism’s Snow Conditions Report (exit DNR). MINNEAPOLIS, Minn.– Fishing League Worldwide (FLW), the world’s largest tournament-fishing organization, announced today a sponsorship agreement with Mercury Marine across all FLW tournament circuits.
