The Ridges Sanctuary seeks grant to acquire land in Door County
Grant requested for Stewardship Land Acquisition project in Town of Baileys Harbor
BAILEYS HARBOR, Wis. - The Ridges Sanctuary has applied for a 50% matching grant from the Knowles-Nelson Stewardship Program to assist with the purchase of 5 acres of land in the Town of Baileys Harbor, Door County. The Ridges Sanctuary will provide match to the grant award. 
The property will be left in its natural state and will be open to the public for low impact recreational activities including hunting, fishing, trapping, hiking, cross-county skiing, snowshoeing, nature study, wildlife observation and photography.
