Love your River:

Community Input Meetings

Presented by The Fox-Wisconsin Heritage Parkway Group

Saturday, February 11, 2012 at 3 p.m.

Trader’s Bar & Grill dinning room

6147 US Hwy 14, Arena, WI

We love our rivers. The Fox River and Lower Wisconsin not only run through our communities, they are part of our landscape, economy, recreation and history. As stewards of these rivers, it is up to us to ensure that these resources are protected and enhanced for the betterment of our communities and future Wisconsin River Canoesgenerations.

We have an opportunity to come together in a regional effort to tell our story and promote our river heritage and rich recreational opportunities as one unique region.

Please join us at one of the following community input meetings to share your thoughts on how your community can play a role in developing cultural and recreational opportunities with the Fox-Wisconsin Heritage Parkway as we seek a National Heritage Area designation with the National Park Service.

Information gathered through these public input sessions will help us determine what services can be supported by local communities within the Parkway to enhance economic development and tourism-related opportunities.
