For Immediate Release - Thursday, February 9, 20122012 Camouflage Photo Contest!
EAU CLAIRE, WI (February 9, 2012): If you like getting dressed up in your favorite camouflage the Wisconsin Sport Show has a contest for you! FREE individual and family photos are being taken this year at the Wisconsin Sport Show for those decked out in their camouflage - there will also be available camo gear to borrow for the photos for those who forget theirs.
The Eau Claire Leader Telegram, Michael’s Portrait Design, and WAXX Radio will be sponsoring this event.
All participants will receive a free souvenir photo to take home from the event. One random family will be drawn from all participants to receive a grand prize package worth over $250. Additional portrait packages will also be available for those wishing to purchase extra pictures.
“The photo contest is just another fun, family activity we will be hosting at this year’s event.” says Lisa Gill, event promoter, “We encourage people to come dressed head to toe in their favorite camouflage outfits ready to get their photo taken.” In addition to the photo contest, Gill says the event will also have an antler contest, chainsaw carving demonstrations, dog demonstrations, a kids activity area with great prizes, and professional seminars each day on a variety of hunting and fishing topics.
Over 100 exhibitor booths will be on display along with boats, ATVs, RVs, and retail sales.
The event will take place at the Eau Claire Indoor Sports Center in Eau Claire. Event hours are 10 AM to 6 PM on Saturday, March 17th, and 10 AM to 5 PM on Sunday, March 18th. Advanced admission tickets are $6 or just $8 at the door, children 10 and younger are free. Tickets are available on-line at www.wisportshow.com, Eau Claire Scheels store, Cody Insurance, the Leader Telegram offices on Farwell Street, or any Gordy’s County Market location.
