So Long 2013 And Welcome 2014 by Greg Thomas 1-8-2014

Greetings from Battle The Beast    MuskieGregThomas1Hey Everyone,
This is a busy time of year for me with Travel Shows, Seminars and Musky Road Rules classes I will be traveling a lot through out the next couple of months.  I want to say thank you to all the past clients that have fished with me and welcome any new guys interested in fishing over the New Year.  This past year was some what for a tough one with late spring that seemed to really change the yearly dynamic for me but I am looking forward to 2014 and hope to get out and fish between events this winter.  Right now in Kentucky the water temps are slightly above 40 degrees with some fish being caught.  We just experiences an extreme cold snap, which crashed the water temps early in the week, but it is only short lived with temps rebounding into the 50’s by the weekend.
I hope to see you all at the Chicago Musky Show at Harper College this weekend come by the booth and we can talk about setting up a trip for this season.  I still have the same special for 2 and 3-day trips in Kentucky.   I will also have some new tee shirt designs with Rusty Hook Apparel that you can buy at the show.  You can see them at   There will be Musky Road Rules information at the booth.  This year we are presenting twice in the Chicago area at the Cabelas in Hoffman Estates (Jan 18) and at the Cabelas in Hammond IN (Jan 19).  You can go to to sign up on line.  If you register early online you will receive a free Stealth Leader the day of the event.  You can also sign up at the show and get your leader there.
Lastly, I will be speaking at The Reel Shot in Appleton WI on Thursday night for C&R Musky Club at 7pm.  I you are in the area stop by.  I hope to see you all sometime this winter.

Gregg Thomas
