Who: Completion of this course is a requirement for people who have not previously purchased a trapping license and who are not actively engaged in farming. It is recommended that students be at least ten years old.

 

When: Wisconsin Cooperative Trapper Education Program group classes are offered from March-October.  

 

Cost: $12

Class schedule

 

You MUST have a DNR Customer ID number prior to the start of class. A number can be acquired by calling 1-888-936-7463 between the hours of 7 a.m.-10 p.m.

Pre-Registration is REQUIRED.
We recommend searching for classes statewide to determine the closest class available to you as not all counties have classes available during a given year.

If you are enrolled in a course, you may download the manual to complete the required quizzes in advance.

 

 

Be sure to print the quiz pages and bring them with you to class where you will receive a hard copy of the manual to take home with you.
