National Outdoor TV Show to Feature Hendersonville Resident in July
Brotherhood Outdoors Watch & Win contest gives viewers the chance to win a Tennessee Russian boar hunt
Nashville, TN— The Union Sportsmen’s Alliance’s award-winning TV series, Brotherhood Outdoors, will air the second episode of its fifth season on Sunday, July 14 on Sportsman Channel . The episode features David Ragland, a union elevator constructor (IUEC Local 93) from Hendersonville, TN, as he heads to Southern Illinois to bow hunt big whitetail bucks and then returns to Tennessee to call in some spring gobblers. While following Ragland on his adventure, viewers will learn of his parents’ selfless dedication to their son’s favorite sport. New episodes in the series air on Sundays at 10 a.m. Central with encore airings on Tuesdays at 2 p.m. and Thursdays at 5:30 p.m. Central.
Co-hosted by Daniel Lee Martin and Julie McQueen, the new season spotlights eight hardworking union sportsmen as they chase their lifelong goals or continue living out their passion in pursuit of a mixed bag of big game, turkey and both fresh and saltwater fish. Each week, viewers will get an intimate glimpse into the lives of these unique, blue-collar characters, their passion for the outdoors and their desire to make a positive difference.
As part of a Brotherhood Outdoors Watch & Win promotion, viewers who tune in to the first three episodes of the new season and correctly answer questions posted on the show website (www.brotherhoodoutdoors.tv/contest) will get a chance to join Daniel Lee and Julie for a once-in-a-lifetime Russian boar hunt in Tennessee’s scenic Cumberland Mountains with the weapon of their choice.
“We are thrilled at the opportunity to take a lucky winner on the Watch & Win grand prize trip,” said co-host Julie McQueen. “We’ve personally chosen the location, and we feel like it will be a life-changing experience for whoever wins! We can’t guarantee that the winner will shoot straight when they see a massive Russian Boar, but we can guarantee that we’ll be there to enjoy the moment with that person.”
Presented by Bank of Labor, Brotherhood Outdoors is also sponsored by the following unions, contractors and corporate partners: Buck Knives, Carhartt, Employee Benefit Systems, International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, International Association of Sheet Metal, Air, Rail and Transportation Workers, International Brotherhood of Boilermakers, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, National Electrical Contractors Association, ULLICO and United Association/International Training Fund.
