License Restructure Up in Senate

budget-puzzle 2The Michigan House of Representatives passed the bill implementing the hunting, fishing and trapping license  restructuring last week. It now goes to the Senate. 

Gun Bill Jeopardizes Youth Hunting

NRC Considering NW Lower Peninsula APR Proposal

The NRC will consider a minimum 3-to-a-side antler point restriction proposal for the northwest Lower Peninsula at its June 13 meeting after a survey of area hunters responded favorably.

Bill Allowing Certain Rifles in Shotgun Zone Moves to Senate

gun racks-thumbHunters and shooting sports enthusiasts are one step closer to seeing the ability to use a rifle loaded with straight walled pistol cartridges in Michigan’s shotgun zone during the firearm deer season thanks to Michigan’s House of Representatives and HB 4283 sponsor Rep. Matt Lori (R-Constantine).
