Gary’s Blog: Snow Storm Today and Below Zero Thursday 1-30-2013

I’m a little behind today because I’ve been shoveling and plowing snow. It looks like the snow is Cardinal-Winter-Smallalmost over, but the winds are going to be 25-30 mph tonight. I also had to shovel out my bird feeders and feeding locations which took over 2 hours. Never leave your feeders empty in the winter snow and cold because this is the time of the year when the birds really need food. I’m feeding over 25 pounds of feed a day this time of year. Now, we have below zero weather to look forward to tomorrow. It was almost 50 degrees the other day! Feed the birds!!
