The ACA is proud to announce the formation of our newest Member Club, the Catskill Mountains Casting Club. The headquarters will be at the Catskill Fly Fishing Center and Museum in Livingston Manor, NY. The grounds include meeting places, a mowed area big enough to land a light aircraft and a pond on the banks of the famous trout stream, the Willowemoc. If you’d like to cast and/or help with future casting events there, please contact Per Brandin. Per who is a past president of the Oakland Casting Club and a superb cane rod builder, has the experience to make this a great addition. Per describes his connection to ACA and how tournament casting has helped his casting and influenced his rod design.
