“Kids Take an Adult Fishing Tournament” This Saturday, August 4th 8-3-2012

  This Saturday, August 4th, is the 12th Annual “Kids Take an Adult Fishing Tournament”Wilderness Logo at the Wilderness Fish and Game store in Sauk City, Wisconsin. Children must be 16 years old or younger and have a registration form and waiver signed by a parent or guardian.Take an Adult Crowd

You may fish anywhere you want in the area from boat or shore as long as they are back at the store for the 2:00 pm weigh-in. National Professional Anglers Association (NPAA member), Greg Karch, will be there to give a mini-seminar in fishing basics along with some of the Midwest’s top professional anglers and guides to help and answer questions. All teams will receive a “goodie bag” of fishing related gear, a hat, and the top 2 fish in the 6 categories will win a trophy and other prizes for all. The fish categories are; trout, panfish, catfish, walleye/sauger, roughfish, and both kinds of bass. There are some great prizes to be given away randomly.

You may still enter by calling (608)-643-5229 for information. The rules meeting and take-off is at 6:00 am. The is a first class tournament for the kids and parents. This is one of the summer’s highlights for families of Wisconsin. There will be DNR officials like Fisheries Director, Mike Staggs, and Invasive Warden Greg Stacey with the new invasive killing trailer for cleaning boats and not spreading invasives.There are many surprises, so call the store and enter. This will be a great day for kids and their families!
