Message from Mike Mossman:
Timm et al,
Dang, I meant to send this out long ago. Get the word out if still possible. Maybe see you there.
Dear friends,
We’re inviting you to come see a film, playing this weekend at the historic Al Ringling Theater in downtown Baraboo. Into The Wake is a psychological thriller about people brought together in a common struggle to overcome the consequences of an inherited, violent past. It’s a well-told story, and stunning as it plays out in the striking cityscapes of South Chicago, then progresses into the gorgeous Lower Wisconsin River and Baraboo Hills.
It was directed and co-written by Mike’s little brother John, who had his first role at age nine in the local Theatre Guild at the Al Ringling, and is now an actor, teacher and filmmaker in Chicago. It’s received great reviews and a bunch of awards at festivals across the country (including a “Golden Badger” at the Wisconsin Film Fest).
Come see for yourself, we’d love to have you there.
