The weather finally got cold enough for some ice and anglers are fishing most of the local and smaller bodies of water for panfish. Gallus Slough, Monona Bay, Cherokee Marsh, the Stoughton Ditches, and the backwaters of the Wisconsin River are all being fished. But, you STILL must be careful!

The small game season is still open, as is the crow season, and the Landowner Deer Season is open through March.

The Miller’s Market give-away is a Slo-Poke jig kit made for the ice angler by Bait Rigs Tackle Company of Madison. There is plenty of Cobra jigs and plastics for the area panfish. Call (608)-212-6464 and leave your name and phone number to win.
