Encore RV Resorts Announces Yuma Concert Series
CHICAGO, IL – Encore RV Resorts, announces the 4th annual Yuma Concert Series, which is attended each year by RV enthusiasts from across the country, as well as local residents. The series will begin its run on January 8, 2012 inside The Yuma Art Center (254 S. Main St.) in downtown Yuma, Arizona. The concert series will run from January through March 2012. All shows will begin at 7 p.m. Tickets are $20 per concert.
The concert series will begin on January 8, with a multi-media event, Remembering the Ladies with Toni Morrell that pays tribute to some of the most unforgettable ladies from the stage, screen and television. On January 28, the Yuma Art Center welcomes guests to Rock Around the Clock with the Original Comets. The band will play some of its best hits from the ’50s, including “Rock Around the Clock” and “Shake, Rattle and Roll.”
The concert series continues on February 3 with the Original Tokens playing hit songs from the ’60s, including the well-known song, “The Lion Sleeps Tonight.”
Fans of the Swedish pop group ABBA will enjoy the Ultimate Tribute to ABBA on February 17. The 3 International Tenors will perform for audiences on March 3 with tributes to some of the finest music from around the world.
The 2012 Yuma Concert Series comes to a close on March 16 with the Best Country Show in Arizona: The Legends of Country Music with Larry King, featuring country classics from the ’50s, ’60s, ’70s and ’80s.
