The Wisconsin River is Receding and Finally Going Down! 9-29-2010
gengberg September 29th, 2010
Today, September 29, 2010 at 6:05 am the water flow on the Wisconsin River was receding with the flow at Castle Rock 16,680 cubic feet per second, Kilbourn or Wisconsin Dells is at 35,060 c.f.s., and Prairie du Sac 59,618 c.f.s. So you can see the flow is still extremely high at the Prairie Dam, its going down up north at Castle Rock. Its going to take a few days without any rain to get back to normal. The future weather looks good. The water will remain too high for most river related activities for some time. I’ll keep you posted!
Remember, to listen to me today on Wisconsin Public Radio at 11:45 am-12:30 pm with the Ideas Network’s Larry Meiller. Tune in or give us a call.
