New Hmong Sportsmen Club Forming 8-27-2010

For the past two years, members of the Sheboygan Hmong hunting community, the Sheboygan County Conservation Association leaders, and DNR Law Enforcement have worked together as a Harmony in the Woods committee to give presentations to other Sheboygan County Conservation Association sportsclubs about the Hmong community’s culture and hunting traditions. This group is currently partnering to conduct a multi-cultural  Learn to Hunt event on September 12th.

This Sheboygan group is different from the Green Bay group. However, Hmong hunters from both cities were at the Hunters Heritage Conference held in the Wausau area back in February.
