We are sorry this week for not getting the radio show on sooner, but our station’s producer was on vacation and they were a little behind! This week on Outdoor Horizons Radio co-host’s Tony Puccio and Gary Engberg have another great show withh an interesting and informative interview with muskie guide and lure maker, Russ “Smity” Smith of Minocqua, Wisconsin.
Russ has been guiding and making premier muskie baits for over 35 years. The interview was recently done by Gary when he and good friend, Bob “Pancake” Zownir fished a Vilas County lake with Russ. Smity talks about the current fishing season and what is working now in northern Wisconsin.

Tony and Gary talk about the fishing on maany area lakes, rivers, and streams with current information. Tony recently returned from fishing the Professional Muskie Tournament Trail event on the Chippewa Flowage with partner, Mike Pecosky. They didn’t catch a legal muskie, but still may make the Championship.
