Notes from the DeskӤ NPAA Membership Drive Enters the Final Week!-The program ends August 31, 2010-Winners will be drawn at the AIM International Walleye Championship final Day!

§ 2011 NPAA Conference Dates January 7-9, 2011 @ Holiday Inn and Suites Airport in Minneapolis. We will be forwarding additional information to you on the Conference as part of the next “Notes from the Desk”!

§ Corey Jahn NPAA #523 and his partner placed 4th @ Aug. 7&8 MTT event on Lake Winnibigoshish with 17.71 lbs.

§ NPAA Supporting Partner Pasha Lake Cabins is featured in a story on the Walleye First website in their News section. The story is titled, “Is it a Walleye?” by Jim Kalkofen

§ Keep in mind that we will be forwarding press releases to our members that are supplied to us by the three tournament circuit Supporting Partners. These include press releases covering tournament results. These releases will be posted in their entirety and be labeled “Supporting Partner Press Release”. In addition to this coverage the NPAA will continue to create press releases covering the finishes of NPAA members at the AIM Championship, FLW Championship, and the MWC events for the remainder of the season. These three circuits are Supporting Partners of the NPAA. For 2010 we are using funding received from those circuits to pay for the production of the releases to give our members additional media exposure.

§ Any NPAA member who would like exposure for their tournament finishes or sponsor achievements can submit a press release to us to be sent out to our members and our industry contacts. These releases will be titles “NPAA Member Press Release”. If you would like to submit items in bullet point form, we make sure to include the item in our Notes from the Desk that will be sent out once a month during the third week of each month.

§ Now is the time for you to update your Promotional Resumes. Most endemic companies require sponsorship requests to be entered prior to October 1st for the upcoming year!

§ This is a great time of year to sign up new Members and Supporting Partners! They receive the remainder of this year and all of next for the same price!!

§ The NPAA will be announcing a new “Tournament Partner Program” for the 2011 tournament season! Tournament directors can sign up starting September 15, 2010.
