The Wisconsin Landowner and Hunters for Traditional Whitetail Deer Hunting is a recently organized group who is opposed to parts of the DNR’s recently published document![]()

The main focus of the objection is the DNR sharpshooters on private property and the proposal for the “Natural Resources Board to seek statutory authority that would expedite access to private properties if necessary to enable intensive reduction of deer density..”. This group of landowners has expressed that under no circumstances will DNR sharpshooters be allowed access to private property without permission.
