Reward Offered to Find Killers of Gray Wolves, Duluth, Minnesota

   Federal agents are investigating a rash of illegal wolf killings accross northern Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service on Tuesday asked for the public’s help in finding whoever is responsible for 16 wolf killings accross the three states in November and December. Wolf Small

Two were killed in Minnesota, eight in Wisconsin, and six in Michigan. 

Wolf populations have rebounded in the last 30 years, but the grey wolf remains under prodection of the Endangered Species Act. 

The Fish and Wilddlife Service is offering up to $1,000.00 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of anyone who kills wolves.
