Denver, Colorado - Officials from Orion Multimedia have announced that Kristy Lee Cook, former star of American Idol and the new host of Goin’ Country, airing on Comcast’s VERSUS Network this fall, will be attending this year’s Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Sports Show.
Goin Country, presented by Browning, breaks new ground with a hunting reality show following Kristy Lee Cook as she takes her country music career on the road and pursues her passion for hunting every chance she gets. Along the way, she hunts everything from whitetail deer in Nebraska to Turkey in Florida, lighting up the stage each night with one rollicking performance after another.”We’ve worked with some of the top talent in the industry and we think Kristy Lee Cook will be the next big hit with this series that blends two passions in her life - the outdoors and country music,” says Orion Multimedia president Chris Dorsey. “Hold on, it’s going to be a wild ride.”
At this year’s Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Sports Show, Browning’sGoin’ Country will be holding a virtual shooting competition open to all show attendees March 10th and 11th on the show floor. The winner will get the opportunity to go on an upland bird hunt with Kristy Lee Cook the very next day and will appear with Kristy on an episode of the TV show. Only those that attend and compete will have the chance at winning.
