What is Conservation Lobby Day?
Conservation Lobby Day is the one day each year where conservation voters from every corner of Wisconsin come to Madison to ask their legislators to support the issues that protect our air and water, decrease our reliance on dirty energy sources and increase opportunities to hunt, fish, and play in our beautiful state!
* Meet one-on-one with your state legislators and tell them why these issues are important to you.
* Join hundreds of other conservation-minded citizens in Madison–network, strategize, and make new friends.
* Receive practical trainings on conservation issues and citizen lobbying.
* Learn more about the 80+ organizations that sponsor the event.
* Hear directly from the legislators championing the issues you care about.
* Feel great about making a difference for Wisconsin’s natural resources.
Last Call: Sponsor Conservation Lobby Day 2010!
Conservation Lobby Day is offered free of charge to anyone who would like to attend. However, putting on such a large event does take significant resources. We are incredibly grateful to the organizations and individuals who have helped offset the costs. Check them out here.
There is still time to make your donation. Click here to get started. Tomorrow is the deadline for having your name appear on all Conservation Lobby Day materials.
You’re Invited: Wild Game Feed and Conservation Lobby Day Social!
Whether you are able to attend Conservation Lobby Day 2010 or not, you are invited to participate in the social at the end of the day.
Don’t miss this opportunity to join others, including state legislators, in discussing the day’s events and congratulate each other on a job well done! In addition to wild game prepared by the Dousman Gun Club and Wisconsin Wildlife Federation, vegetarian selections and a cash bar will be available. The Lobby Day reception is always a great time!

Busch explained that he’s coming to Conservation Lobby Day to share his concerns about the health implications of poor energy choices with his legislators. We hope you can join R.J. and hundreds of others in advocating for clean air, clean water, and sporting opportunities at Conservation Lobby Day 2010!!
