Here’s this week’s article, let me know what you think.

Fishing For Newbie’s by Dale Mazurek
You can’t tell me that there is any better sport in the world than fishing. Is this opinion or fact. Well in my opinion it is a fact. Just think about it. You get to be in the wilderness, you get to experience the rush of pulling in a fighting creature of God and on top of that you can be putting food on the table. Another great thing about the most wonderful sport is it is something the entire family can easily get involved in. There is however one thing that you must be careful of. Fishing for newbie’s. Trout Stream Scenery smallThat’s right, if the newbie’s are not shown the beauty of this fine sport they could be turned off for a long time. So in this article I will attempt to make fishing for newbie’s just a little easier.

The first thing you need to teach in fishing for newbie’s are a few of the must dos. Newbie’s must be taught to check out regulations. This can usually be done by contacting your local fish and game office. A must is a fishing permit. I personally don’t know of any place you are allowed to fish without a permit. Then there are a number of other things that need to be learned. It’s important to know what species you can keep and what ones need to be released. Most places also have size limits whether they are maximums or minimums. Another great place you can go for information is your local fishing store. If they don’t have the answers the newbie is looking for they will be able to direct them to someone who knows the answer.

Of course fishing for newbie’s requires equipment. Now as a newbie you don’t want to go crazy and buy all the most expensive and greatest tools for the sport. It’s a must that when you go shopping for your first gear you tell the people at the angling store that you are a newbie. They, for the most part will lead you into the right direction. Most of them know that you are going to definitely fall in love with the sport of fishing. This means that if they are honest and helpful then you will likely be back for your future fishing needs.

Now as you look around you might feel a bit overwhelmed. You have no clue as where to start or what to do. I suggest just sitting back and watching the people around you. Once you get an idea of what they are doing then find a secluded spot on the shore line and start practising. I assure you that in no time you will be casting like a pro. Also, don’t be scared to talk to other fishermen. You will find that most of them are the friendliest bunch you ever want to be associated with. However don’t expect them to give away secrets because that just isn’t going to happen.

Now the age old question. Where are the fish biting? Well to be honest the best way to find that out is through trial and error. Just move from spot to spot. Don’t be scared to try shallow, deep and medium depths. You may just surprise yourself and find a school of fish where you would never expect to.

So when it comes to fishing for newbie’s there is something you need to always remind yourself. There is never a bad day when you get to spend it fishing. You will never go out every day and catch numbers and sizes but what you will be doing is going out and enjoying the greatest sport in the world.

Just remember a bad day of fishing is better than a good day at work.
