   This week on Outdoor Horizons Radio Tony Puccio, Wally Banfi, and Gary Engberg talk about the ice fishing season which now is in gear. The guys give local fishing tips for the southern Wisconsin and Madison lakes. Safe ice fishing is discussed with the how, when’s, and why’s of ice fishing.

Gift ideas for the sportsmen is discussed with the guys giving their Christmas favorite choices.

The guest this week was DNR Fish Technician Scott Harpold who does much of the survey work on the Madison Chain and is also a good ice angler. Scott was fishing before he met us for the show and had some good results on the “Triangle.” There are many fishing reports from listeners. Fishing reports from Lake Wisconsin, Madison, Crystal Lake, Devils Lake, and Gallus Slough were talked about.

The remaining hunting seasons are mentioned and talked about with the Holiday Hunt still remaining and the late bow season.
