December 10 is the deadline for applying for your spring turkey and bear permits. With the increse of bear in Wisconsin, the wait for a permit may be shorter. The duck season is closing, but pheasants are open till the end of the month along with fall turkey.

Anglers are fishing for muskies with the December 31 closing and there are still many anglers out trying for that big fish. Another 48 inch and 35 pound fish was just caught and I’ll soon have the photo.

Walleyes are biting on Lake Monona, Lake Wisconsin, and the Wisconsin River. Be sure and send us a card with your name and address for our Interstate Battery give-away.
