  Today on Outdoor Horizons Radio Wally Banfi and Gary Engberg discuss the local pheasant hunting and the large number of big bucks being taken by local bow hunting. The deer are in rut and this is a great time to harvest a big trophy. The local fishing is talked about with the up and down walleye and muskie fishing that has been happening.

Sauk County Conservation Warden John Buss talked with Gary at the Pheasants Forever Youth Hunt at the Merrimac Conservation Club last weekJohn Buss. John discusses the coming deer season and the joy of just getting out in the outdoors. John is a regular guest of Outdoor Horizons Radio. The many open hunting seasons are talked about and the state muskie season south of Highway 10 that stays OPEN through December. Practise Catch and Release!

The recent stocking of walleye and trout in Devils Lake is also talked about with the recent stocking.
