Outdoor Horizons Radio 11-6-09

This week on Outdoor Horizons Radio, Wally Banfi, Tony Puccio, and Gary Engberg have all been fishing the area’s lakes fishing for muskies and walleyes. All of us give some important tips for fishing this time of year. The muskie action has been good on particularly Lake Waubesa. Trolling is still working, but slow your speed down to 2.5 to 3.5 mph. The local lakes have turned over and fishing till freeze-up should be very good. Remember that this year the muskie season is open till the end of December. Guys Small

Gary gives some local hunting information on pheasants , deer, and ducks. The bow hunters have been harvesting many big bucks with the deer in rut and the gun season opening next week. Be sure to sight in your guns and get ready for the deer season. This show is another winner!

Be sure and send your fishing and hunting photos to Gary at gengberg@garyengbergoutdoors.com and check out the website at www.garyengbergoutdoors.com . I’ll be glad to post any of your good pictures.
