This week on Outdoor Horizons Radio Wally Banfi and Gary Engberg interview gunsmith, Gary Brock, on what hunters should do to have their guns in top shape for the fall hunting seasons and particularly the soon to come Wisconsin Deer Gun season in November.
The duck, goose, grouse, turkey, dove, and pheasant season are now open. Brock has been at the Wilderness Fish and Game store for three years after working at the Rusk Gun Shop in Madison for 20 years before their closing. Gary knows guns and I would highly recommend him for any gun work.
Tony Puccio is in Ohio fishing the Walleye Central outing at Lake Erie. Tony hasn’t called, but the weather looks bad. Wally and Gary discuss the improved fishing on Lake Wisconsin, the Wisconsin River, the Madison Lakes, and northern Wisconsin for walleyes, muskies, and smallmouths. There are always tips and fishing reports for local waters and the guys are out fishing regularly as are the other Four Lakes Guide Association members, Terry Frey, Ron Barefield, and Lee Tauchen.
