FLOW NEWS & EVENTS
Message from Tom Baron:

We wanted to update you on work we are preparing for the Fox-Wisconsin Heritage Parkway (FWHP). We have recently secured funding to proceed with an update of a Fox-Wisconsin Heritage Parkway plan that was completed in 1997. Canoe Wr smallLike the original plan, this plan update focuses on communities in the Heritage Parkway area, and how these communities can utilize the FWHP. To insure broad based involvement in this planning effort, we have scheduled a series of presentations that will be open to all interested local governments, organizations, and individuals. We have attached a list of the presentation dates, times, and locations for your reference.

We ask that you take a moment to help spread this information with your colleagues and anyone who may have an interest in attending the presentation. The presentation is intended to be a two-way communication session which is both informational and a listening session for us. It consists of a PowerPoint, which takes 20 to 25 minutes to explain the background of the project, physical boundaries, and what the Fox-Wisconsin Heritage Parkway is . We would also describe what we are currently working on, and offer a call to action. After the PowerPoint, we would take questions, and seek the audience’s input on how the project could work in their community. This process usually lasts from 45 minutes to an hour, depending on the amount of discussion after the PowerPoint.

Thank you,
Tom
