River Chain for the entire tournament. Fishing hours on Saturday were from
7:00 am 4:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 7:00 am 1:00 pm. Twenty Seven
muskies of 34 inches or greater were registered on Saturday and 10 muskies

Fifteen teams placed in the tournament with fish registered from 34 inches
up to 44.25 inches. There were also many smaller muskies caught throughout
the tournament as well several muskies going after the bait but not making
the bite. ³Eagle River continues to be a great musky fishery, but what an
interesting tournament with interesting weather², remarked Tim Widlacki,
President/Tournament Director of the PMTT.
The PMTT tournament is a total catch and release tournament. Fishing
conditions for this year¹s tournament were a little rough due to a late
spring and constantly-changing weather conditions.
The largest fish caught on Saturday (taken on a bulldawg) was 43.25 inches,
by the team of Dale Drew of Brace Villa, IL and Don Drew of Ormond Beach,
FL. They placed 11th in the tournament with the catch and release of their
43.25 inch musky.![]()
