UW Extension, local farmers, EC3, Pheasants Forever, and Better Environmental Solutions will present on how to grow switchgrass and biomass to increase farm income, reduce flooding, and produce biomass for power and biofuels. Biomass gives farmers a biomass crop in floodplains and floodways that can be burned in power plants to reduce air pollution and global warming.
