An Email from A Wisconsin Fisherwoman and Photos From Her on My Pictures Section

gengberg February 20th, 2009

Hello Gary,
I’ve been a dedicated Wisconsin fisherwoman my entire life. I used to live
for walleyes, bass, muskies and big perch. However, recent inshore
saltwater experiences have completely ruined Wisconsin fishing for me!
Now
my best days are with the snook, tarpon and goliath grouper on the Indian
River in Stuart, FL. And the best part is that my WI fishing skills have
made me successful pretty quickly with these kinds of fish - see the fishing
report below.

I think other Wisconsin fish lovers would appreciate inshore saltwater
fishing too, so I got your name from Rob Reischel. There are so many
similarities to the fishing here, and so many Wisconsinites travel to
Orlando or other parts of Florida already in the winter - why not extend our
fishing season south?

The inshore saltwater experience is being featured on ESPN’s “Going Coastal”
series” right now - I would love a chance to talk about this type of fishing
with you, and have you see how much fun this fishing can be. Jennifer
