Guidelines - What Seat is Best for You?

In The Same Boat
The simplest foods are often the best. Tasty, filling, and easy to prepare-it’s mighty hard to go wrong with this combination. So, when planning your next paddling menu, whether it’s for a day trip or a month-long expedition, be sure to add cornmeal to your list. You won’t be sorry. It’s simple. It’s good. And it’s versatile. In this week’s In the Same Boat, Tamia explores the options “From Porridge to Polenta.”

Trips Directory Spotlight
Outfitter Photo Costa Rica Adventurers Dream Trip
by SOAR Inflatables
On this small group trip we paddle SOAR canoes on 5 different easy rivers: 3 which offer great wildlife sightings, and 2 which have fun warm water rapids. We go on several great hikes, take zip lines through the rain forest, swim beneath waterfalls, ride horses, play on uninhabited beaches, and much more. Each night we stay in hospitable country lodges, and the meals we eat are always sumptuous! The pace is active, but we never feel too rushed to enjoy solitude and beauty, the people and their culture. Our Tico trip guide is a great naturalist, accomplished birder, and long time river guide. He will share his love of his country with you!

Product Review Spotlight
Shearwater 16 by Chesapeake Light Craft
I built this boat over the summer, and it is great. I love it. CLC came to St. Pete to demo a lot of their boats, and this was my favorite of the bunch. I have been paddling for about 5 years now, and this is the best boat I have owned so far. It’s fast, and tracks very well. It’s plenty stable, and very fast! I love it… Rating: 10 of 10 by spinnb7
