Despite today’s and the weekends cold and wind, if the weather moderates (as it is supposed to) and the winds die down and temperatures get back to normal there now is a great opportunity to catch both bluegills and
crappies. Depending on the weather, both species of panfish have been biting on and off the past few weeks. The fish have been active locally in Lake Wisconsin, Gallus Slough, Crystal Lake, and on most of the Madison Chain of Lakes waters.
