The Wisconsin winter of 2007/2008 has been a winter like the state hasn’t seen in the last decade. Before this winter, the previous 10 winters had been above normal with a minimal amount of snow. This year, winter came in like a “freight train” the first weekend of December and its been cold and snowy since then with only a few thaws and mild weather periods. Southern Wisconsin is close to breaking its snowfall record and temperatures have been consistently below normal and arctic-like most of this winter. Continue Reading »
