Early Trout Season 2006

Wisconsin’s early catch-and-release season opened Saturday, March 4th at 5:00 a.m. and stays open through mid-night April 30th. The regular trout season for all waters opens May 6th at 5:00a.m. and runs through September 30th. During the early trout season, the daily bag and possession limit is zero (0) and only artificial lures with barbless hooks may be used while fishing for any species on trout stream.
