Southern Wisconsin’s Winter Pike 12-15-05

Southern Wisconsin happens to be blessed with numerous lakes that have a good to very good population of northern pike for the ice fisherman. The reasons are numerous, but a couple of the main reasons are; larger minimum size limits which allow fish to grow longer before they are caught and kept, good spawns with high water in spawning areas, D.N.R. stocking, and more angler’s practicing catch and release. –>
